Restaurants for Tropical Drinks - The Bahamas

There are so many things to love about The Bahamas that it should come as no surprise that Nassau and Paradise Island homes for sale have always been extremely popular. One thing that you can't escape is the lost list of tropical drinks available throughout the islands. To give you an idea of what to expect, we've put together six of our favorite places to grab a drink, enjoy a meal, and have fun.

  1. The Daiquiri Shack – West Bay Street, Nassau
With a name like The Daiquiri Shack, you probably already get the gist of what this place is all about. Newcomers are always delighted by the large amount of fresh fruit that adorns their walls—and the pleasant scene is amazing. They feature a great little outdoor bar where you and friends can hang out and are especially known for their coconut and watermelon daiquiris. Just keep in mind that it's a small place, so it can sometimes get a bit crowded at peak times. Plan a visit after looking at West Bay Street homes for sale.

  2. Señor Frog's – Woodes Rodgers Walk, Nassau
Even if you've visited a Señor Frog's before, there's nothing quite like The Bahamas location. This wonderful Mexican restaurant gives you a true party experience complete with DJs, live bands, conga lines, daytime karaoke, and lots more. Their menu items consist of island favorites like conch salad and a variety of delicious tropical drinks. And if you're looking for something with a bit of a kick, our agents suggest that you order the jalapeño margarita.

  3. Ichiban Restaurant – West Bay Street, Nassau
If sushi is your thing, then you must visit this restaurant while you're in The Bahamas. Not only is every single selection tasty, but you get a huge portion with every sushi plate. You can also expect tasty veggie rolls, wonderful service, a friendly staff, frozen mojitos, and—one of our favorite drinks in the area—the Ichiban Fusion. Another great tip: Ask for an outdoor table upstairs so you can take in the gorgeous view while you eat.

  4. Atlantis Paradise Island – One Casino Drive, Paradise Island
This resort and casino is one of the favorite hot spots in all of The Bahamas for both locals and visitors. Just be warned: Its gorgeous atmosphere may entice you to stay a lot longer than you initially planned. In addition to the wide variety of tropical drinks, you'll have access to a tasty buffet, delightful aquarium, and an excellent water park. As you might expect, Atlantis gets busy because of its popularity with families and couples, but it's definitely worth the crowd.

  5. Sea Glass Lounge – Paradise Island Drive, Paradise Island
If you're looking for something a bit on the fancy side, then the Sea Glass Lounge may be right up your alley. Many people love to stop by and check out the table games found here on Thursdays and Sundays, especially since it's less packed than the Atlantis Paradise Island Casino. Patrons also adore affordable drinks that include mojitos, manhattans, and more.

  6. Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville – Marina Drive, Paradise Island
Despite what the song says, you certainly won't be wastin' away in this particular Margaritaville. Whether you're a Parrot Head or have no idea what that term means, you'll find a long list of foods and drinks such as margaritas (obviously), daiquiris, BBQ jerk chicken, shrimp entrees, and so much more. Stop by for the Happy Hour food and drink specials, Taco Tuesday, or whenever you're feeling like having a cheeseburger in paradise.
