Curving along New Providence Island's northern coastline, West Bay Street is one of the few major roads in Nassau that offers a long stretch of continuous sidewalk. That makes it a great place for a run. Starting just west of downtown Nassau at Saunders Beach, it's about a 6-mile run (one way) out to Olde Towne Sandyport, where the sidewalk ends. Along the way, you'll get fantastic views of the coastline and see some lovely West Bay Street Homes for Sale.
- Clifton Heritage National Park - Near S W Road, Nassau, The Bahamas
Overlooking the western tip of New Providence Island, Clifton Heritage National Park preserves a rugged and beautiful landscape of seaside cliffs, coastal wetlands, rocky shores, and sandy beaches. It's a great place to go trail running, with several winding trails through the diverse and ever-changing landscape. As you leave the park, you can continue southward on South Western ( S W) Road to see additional landmarks like the Pirate Stairs and Clifton Pier and continue northward to see the famous Jaws Beach.
- Nassau Northern Waterfront - East Bay Street, Nassau, The Bahamas
The Northern Waterfront of Nassau offers some great running options and picturesque views of the harbour and the bridges to Paradise Island. There's a paved boardwalk between Malcolm's Park and Harbour Bay Marina, which is about 0.75-mile long and can be used for a 1.5-mile out-and-back run. If you're looking for a longer route, you can run along the waterfront to the Sir Sidney Poitier Bridge, which leads to Paradise Island. Once across, follow Paradise Island Road to Cabbage Beach, heading east until you reach Smugglers Beach for a trip that totals 7.5 miles. You'll see some Paradise Island homes for sale along the way.

Offering over 2 miles of pristine, powdery white sand, Cable Beach features some of the best beach running in Nassau. There's simply nothing like running alongside the crystal-clear waters of Nassau's north shore, accompanied by the sound of seagulls overhead and the sea gently lapping at the shore.

The walking/jogging track along Marshall Road is a great place to run near Nassau's south shore. The road is about 3 miles end-to-end and offers some lovely views of coastal marshlands and residential neighborhoods, with crystal blue waters as their backdrop. At the eastern end of Marshall Road, a series of dirt trails begin, leading into Bonefish Pond National Park.
- Old Fort Bay - Ocean Drive, Nassau, The Bahamas
Old Fort Bay is a residential gated community named for the old British fort that still overlooks New Providence Island's northwestern shore. Today, it's home to some stunning Old Fort Bay homes for sale and has several quiet, residential streets perfect for running or jogging. Charleston Lane and Ocean Drive can be combined for a 4.8-mile round-trip run, complete with a stop at the beach at the route's midpoint. It's a great runbut only available for Old Fort Bay residents and their guests.
